The Transition Year students took place in a week of Work Experience program which lasted five days over the week of the 13th of February. There was a wide selection of placements such as vets, the military, farriers, schools, doctors, dentists, and Supervalu. They were given a great insight into the different aspects of working life. It was the responsibility of the students to find and secure their own work placements, and students were able to get many great work experiences, giving them great knowledge for securing real jobs in future. We would like to thank all the employers for their hospitality in accepting our TY’s for the week.
