At St Mary’s, we are blessed with a fantastic school community and excelling in competitions like this reminds us all of what can we achieve when we come together
. Students and community alike rallied and donated over 75,000 batteries.
As a result of this phenomenal effort, we won the All-Ireland WEEE recycling competition, receiving a €2,000 voucher from Podium4Sport. This fantastic prize has been spent on new sport equipment for the P.E department. Congratulations to all involved and a special thank you to Ms McLean for spearheading the initiative in our school.
